These terms govern your use of www.tappinn.co.uk (the “Site”) and your Tappinn membership. By using the Site or joining Tappinn, you agree to them. Please read them carefully.
1. Who we are
Tappinn is operated by TAPPINN LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17479414, with its registered office at 11 Searing Way, Tadley, RG26 4HT, England. You can contact us at hello@tappinn.co.uk.
2. Requesting access
Tappinn is currently available by invitation. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee membership or create a contract. We will only use the email address you give us to contact you about Tappinn, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to become a member.
4. Membership and payment
- Membership costs £29.99 per month, including VAT where applicable, billed in advance through the App Store or Google Play unless we tell you otherwise.
- Your membership renews automatically each month until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time through your app store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- We will give you at least 30 days’ notice of any price change, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
5. Your right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have 14 days from the start of your membership to cancel for any reason. If you ask us to begin providing the service during that period, you agree we may deduct a proportionate amount for the service already provided. Refunds for purchases made through an app store are handled under that store’s refund process.
6. How Finn works
Finn is an AI concierge. It suggests, plans and prepares bookings based on your requests and preferences. Finn will not complete a booking or take payment for one without your confirmation.
Finn’s recommendations are made in good faith but may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. Please check important details, such as dates, times, prices, names and travel documents, before you confirm.
7. Bookings with our partners
- Restaurants, flights, hotels, transport, experiences, tickets and lounge access are provided by independent third-party suppliers, not by Tappinn.
- When you confirm a booking, your contract for that service is with the supplier and is subject to their own terms, including their pricing, cancellation and refund policies. We will show you the full price before you confirm.
- Booking costs are separate from your membership fee.
- Private aviation requests are passed as charter briefs to authorised operators. Any charter is contracted directly between you and the operator, who is responsible for quoting and operating the flight.
- You are responsible for holding valid passports, visas and any other travel documents, and for arranging suitable travel insurance.
8. Using Tappinn responsibly
You agree not to misuse the Site or app, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with how they work, making fraudulent bookings, or using them for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or end your membership if you breach these terms.
9. Your information
We handle your personal data, including your Taste DNA, in line with UK data protection law and our Privacy Policy. Our use of cookies on the Site is explained in our Cookie Policy.
10. Intellectual property
The Site, the Tappinn app, the Tappinn name and logo, and all content we create belong to Tappinn Ltd or our licensors. Partner names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners and are shown to indicate our integrations.
11. Our responsibility to you
We will provide our service with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party suppliers, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable. Our total liability to you in connection with your membership is limited to the membership fees you have paid in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will tell you about significant changes before they take effect, and you may cancel your membership if you do not agree to them.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
14. Contact us
If you have any questions or complaints, please contact us at hello@tappinn.co.uk. We aim to respond within five working days.
